The Discovery of Santa Cruz del Islote: A Unique Island Village
One of the most memorable excursions during our stay at Casa Enalagua was our visit to Santa Cruz de la Islote, a small island housing a community of approximately 1200 inhabitants, right in the middle of the ocean. This island, powered by a generator and solar panels, immersed us in a way of life we had never imagined before. We were fortunate to share authentic moments with the locals.
Interacting with the locals allowed me to grasp the beauty of life from new perspectives. From the warm hospitality in remote small villages to the bustling rhythms of big cities, each place has its own charm and offers a plethora of discoveries.
